Make the Cover You Have Work Harder

Most Round Rock patio covers are missing two things: moving air and light after dark.

A ceiling fan turns a shaded patio into a comfortable one; moving air makes a 95-degree afternoon manageable. Lighting extends the space into the evening. Screens remove the mosquitoes. None of it needs a new structure, and we coordinate licensed electrical so it’s permitted and safe.

We also fix what’s wrong. Covers built without flashing leak at the house. Posts set in concrete rot at the base. Long spans without adequate beams sag. We diagnose, quote and repair, and we say so when a cover has reached the point where replacement is the better spend.

Repair or Replace?

A straight answer, with photos.

Sound structure with a leak, a bad post or a tired finish: repair, and we’ll do it well. Rotted roof deck, several failing posts or an undersized cover: repairs add up fast, and a new insulated aluminum cover on the same slab is often close in cost. We show you what we find and you decide.

Upgrades & Repairs FAQ

Can you add a fan to my existing cover?

Almost always. Aluminum panels take fan mounts directly; wood covers need a box on a beam. A licensed electrician handles the circuit.

My cover leaks where it meets the house. Fixable?

Usually. Most ledger leaks are flashing problems and are repairable. We inspect from above and below.

Do you repair covers you didn’t build?

Yes. Most of our repair work is on covers built by others.

Do upgrades need permits?

Electrical work does, through a licensed electrician we arrange. Screens and repairs on an existing permitted structure typically don’t.

Is there a minimum job size?

No. One fan or a few re-screened panels is a real job.
