Greenbelt Lots West of 183, Family Yards East of It
Cedar Park has two kinds of backyards. West of 183, in Buttercup Creek, Ranch at Brushy Creek, Cypress Canyon and Twin Creeks, lots back to greenbelts and slopes with mature oaks and a view worth keeping; those homeowners want a cover that frames the view rather than blocking it. East of 183, in Anderson Mill West, Forest Oaks and Red Oaks, yards are flatter and more exposed, and insulated aluminum with fans and screens is the practical answer.
Both share the Cedar Park afternoon sun. We look at orientation first, then design the cover, the roof height and any screen or solar-mesh walls. Outdoor kitchens are common in Cedar Park’s larger yards, and we design them with the cover so the grill vents and the lights land right.
Cedar Park HOAs generally require architectural approval, and the city requires permits for attached structures. We handle both.

We prepare the drawings, engineering and HOA submission, follow up with the committee and pull the permit. Greenbelt lots sometimes carry setback or drainage considerations; we check the plat before designing.

Cedar Park Patio Cover FAQ
Can you build a cover that keeps my greenbelt view?
Yes. Taller posts, open ends, minimal beams and an insulated roof keep the shade without walling off the view.
Cedar or aluminum for a Hill Country lot?
Both work. Cedar fits the setting; aluminum in a wood-grain finish gives the look with no maintenance. We bring samples.
How far is Cedar Park from your shop?
About fifteen minutes west on 1431. We’re in Cedar Park most weeks.
Do I need a permit in Cedar Park?
Attached covers, yes, with engineering. We handle it and the HOA approval.
Can you add a kitchen later?
Yes, and it’s cheaper if we plan for it now: conduit, post placement and roof height.
